Habitat for Humanity-Buffalo is excited to announce the start of a youth engagement campaign, called Nickels for Nails, which will allow area students, from elementary to college-age, an opportunity to assist our organization in alleviating poverty housing in Buffalo, and to have some fun in the process!

Nickels for Nails is a fundraising drive that will be held this coming spring at area schools. The drive will take place during a four-week span from March 7, 2011 until April 1, 2011. The funds raised from this “youth build” initiative will be used to sponsor a house which will become home to a qualified family in need. The goal for actual construction of the youth build house is Fall 2011.
