As Habitat for Humanity Buffalo continues to grow, so does our need for volunteers.

We will be opening a second ReStore in August at 1675 South Park Avenue in August. This will increase our need for ReStore volunteers at both locations.

As we grow, our administrative support needs in the Habitat Buffalo office also continue to grow.

ReStore Volunteers:

In store assistance needed for various customer service functions including cashiering, product sorting, testing and preparation and customer assistance with moving/carrying items. Prefer shifts of at least three hours in length. Volunteers must be at least 14 years of age.

Volunteers also needed to assist with marketing the ReStores to customers and donors. May involve updating the donor database, making phone calls, preparing letters or distributing ReStore brochures. (most likely to be done from main office). Familiarity with MS Office software is preferable.

Office Volunteers:

Help needed answering phones, preparing various correspondence and filing. Familiarity with MS Office software is preferable. Office hours are Monday through Friday, 9AM to 5PM. Prefer shifts of at least four hours in length.
