Nickels for Nails a great success thanks to area youth!

Nickels for Nails, an opportunity for area youth to raise money for Habitat for Humanity-Buffalo, has been a great success!
We are very grateful for the participation of fourteen local schools – private, public, and charter – consisting of 6,600 students from pre-kindergarten to college-age, who participated in the campaign which officially ended on April 1. These students helped our organization by donating spare change and bills into paint cans and cardboard house banks that were distributed to these schools.
All of the funds raised from this initiative will go directly toward the
rehab of a house in Buffalo. At the conclusion of this engagement
campaign, called the Youth Build, this house will become home to a
family in need.
Schools and/or youth groups interested in participating in the campaign
should contact John Kordrupel at 716-204-0740 ext. 105 or
