Individuals and businesses may donate for resale new and gently used

We cannot accept matresses/boxsprings, clothing, children’s toys, televisions, and hazardous materials.
How to donate:
1. Donation Drop-offs
Donations may be dropped off at either Buffalo ReStore location during business hours.
If you have a large quantity of materials for donation that you wish to deliver, please contact the ReStore. We can discuss space limitations and ensure we have the manpower to assist you.
2. Scheduling a Pickup
Please call 716 852 6607 and follow the voice prompts for donating to a ReStore.
You will be directed to one of our locations based on the Zip Code you will be asked to enter.
Your details will be taken or you will be prompted to leave a message. We will contact you to schedule the pick-up and confirm your donation details.
Our trucks are on the road between 11:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Tuesday through Saturday.
4. Collection Guidelines
For the safest and most efficient collection of your donated materials, please follow these simple guidelines:
- Have all items boxed (if applicable), stacked and readily accessible.
- Mark all items with a note that reads: “For Habitat for Humanity”.
- Absolutely no hazardous waste, or general waste items will be accepted.
- We are not able to haul-away trash or sort items that do not meet our criteria.
If you wish, our trained drivers will enter your home to access your donation.
While we try to establish the suitability of your donation during the telephone contact stage, our trained drivers may still decline the donation when they arrive at your house.
5. Tax Deductibility
All donation made to the Buffalo ReStores are tax deductible.
Once your donation has been received, you will be given a carbon copy receipt that can be used for tax deductions!
