The Habitat/Buffalo Family Selection Committee is looking for new members!
Committee members conduct initial interviews with prospective home owners, acceptance interviews, and act as consultants to accepted families until they are accepted for a specific house. Committee membership includes a monthly committee meeting, family visits, phone calls, and a desire to help families begin and continue the process toward becoming successful home owners. 1. Development Committee:
Organizing, working and brainstorming fundraising events.
2. Family Selection:
Reviewing and interviewing Habitat Applicants
3. Family Support:
Acting as a liaison for Habitat families
4. Site Selection:
Picking potential build sites
5. Mortgage Stewardship:
Finances, realty, law
6. Housing Liaison:
Matching families to houses
